Hey guys, I've been searching for old posts all over about this, but no specific solid answers. As the title states, can a run a tire with a 45 sidewall (225/45/18) in my Gen 2 MS3 lowered on prokits with rubbing issues? Trying to soften the ride a little further.

Hmm. Wouldnt 40s make the tire looks smaller?? Well I'm not sure what gen car OP has. IMO, gen 3s doesnt look good with that 225/45/18s.

Not really, stock ms3 tire specs are 225/40/18. 40s are fine and so as 45, if its only pro kit. He should be fine

Thanks guys, I have an '11 MS3. I need new tires (stock is already 40) and want to add a little more cushion to the ride (prokits and Koni yellow's). Closing up the wheel gap a little more will be nice as well. Anyway good to know I shouldn't have issue with rubbing.
