Does anyone else has the issue of a "hissing sound" coming from the Bose speakers, with the system on mute? Sounds like a tape player from the 80's..

Once road noise take over, I can't hear it, but when the car is turned off it's really annoying...My car is 1 week old today.

I would for sure bring that back to Mazda. That sounds like a ground issue or short to me. I recently purchased a GT and have had no such problems.
