Advanced Key not found

Hi All,

I have an issue with my 2010 Mazda 3. For some reason the advanced key is not working as expected. I have checked the battery and replaced it with a new one. The lock and unlock functions work but I can't open the car by using the button on the handle or push start. The Aux key does work fine. I have two FOB's and the other one works no problem. Does anyone have any ideas of what's going on? Is is a programming issue or something wrong with one of the FOB's. Did a bit of digging around and found some instructions online but none of those seemed to help.

Are you using the by itself ? I have found when I have the key in close proximity to my cell phone, it does not like to cooperate.

From what you have posted, I am going to believe that your primary key you have used is no good

Nope by itself, was working as of yesterday. I normally have my phone with me and the key at the same time and it's fine but i left it in the house just to be sure. Yes this is what I am starting to think that its no good. Ugh if that's the case I can live without the proximity functions or just use the secondary FOB. I'm sure it will be expensive to fix.
