2006 Mazda3 2.0L Standard.

Recently my car has started giving me really loud cracking / groaning noise when I turn my steering wheel left or right. My power steering doesn't feel like power steering any more. Its getting stiff. Really stiff like old cars without power steering.

Can someone help me finding what is wrong? And a good place (Affordable) to get it fixed.

Go and see Jimmy at Street Performance if you are in Toronto.

When was the last time you changed your power steering fluid?

It was 3 months back I guess. The fluid looks okay. I checked it already.

+1 on the recommendation. Any luck? Was your pump ever replaced under the recall years ago (not 100% sure that the 2006 was affected, but I know it underwent revision).

Hey sorry for the late response I away on vacation. Yes I got it checked from Jimmy from Street performance and we found out that the driver side Link bar was seized & it was giving a loud cracking noise. Easy fix not too time consuming Jimmy fixed it under $150[emoji106]
