Automatic Light Sensor

Hi Everyone,

For some reason I noticed that my automatic headlight sensor is not working and they are on all the time. I have a small sensor on the dash and another one on the windshield. I think the one on the dash is the light sensor and the one in the windshield/mirror is the rain sensor. Can someone confirm if this is accurate??

Has anyone had this issue?? Does anyone know what part is called, its location and the cost?? I called Mazda and it seems know one knows.

What year is the car? Both sensors are normally in the top. I know in my car I actually have tape over it so that my auto lights come on automatically all the time.

The one on the dash is for the automatic climate control.
