Keep stock screen working with aftermarket stereo

I was wondering if it's possible to upgrade the stereo but also keep the small screens near the dash working as well.

What do you mean by upgrading the stereo? Like sub/amp combo? Door speakers etc? You absolutely can.

In the gen 2s. No, the screen does pretty much nothing after the stock stereo comes out. Unless you have the dual mid, then the one works fine, the other not so much
