iPhone 5S bluetooth audio - text not displaying

Hi there,

I was wondering if anyone knows how to fix the issue with the iPhone 5S not displaying the track title on the screen when you're streaming music via bluetooth audio. According to the manual you need at least AVRCP version 1.3 for the text to display. And according to Apples website the iPhone 5S offers that.

Mine says 'unknown'...sometimes. It won't play the songs when 'unknow'comes up. It's weird.

Doesn't work with my Android or iPhone either.. :( 2010 speed3 tech

I have the problem with "unknown" on occasion too. Usually physically going to my phone and selecting something in the music app resets it.

Mine has yet to display the track titles and the elapsed time remains at 0:00. Sometimes it seems to display the correct track number.

I should add that I have an iPhone 6 running iOS 9.2.

As it turns out, I just has to press the 'Text' button to get it to display the track titles. The time doesn't work, but song titles are nice.

Do you have the sound delay too? Everyone takes 2-3 seconds to respond, and if you watch a video/snapchat over the speakers the voice is off the mouth?
