Hey guys,

I was wondering if you guys can help me. I have a gen 2, lowered with only 3cm fender gap (all sides) on KWV1 coils on 2010+ speed 3 rims. I was wondering if I can install some 15mm spacers in the back and still not do a fender roll. I wasnt able to accurately measure the gap and I tried searching here and other forums for the answer. I am not really looking for a perfectly flush look, just want to bring the rims out a bit.

For the fronts, if I do 15mm as well, will I be rubbing? I know I will clear the fenders for sure.

I am interested in the eibach 15mm since I heard issues with other brands on speed3 rims. :)

Thank you so much, any info will be greatly helpful!!

If your rims are on your car.... go take a tape measure and put it against your rims and look top down. If 15 cm is visible, you goofed.

Shouldn't I put it on the tire wall since that would hit the fender lip??

Keep in mind, with 15mm spacers you probably need extended lugs for safe engagement of the lug nut threads. I'm not sure if 15mm spacers are thick enough to come with new lugs installed, I think they usually still just use the original lugs passing through the spacers. 5-8mm is the safe maximum IMO.

I have been looking into spacers too. . And from what I've gathered, some 15 mm spacers come with their own studs/ some don't.

Thing is the Gen 2 speed3 wheels don't have enough space next to the stud holes to accommodate the existing studs. So in that case you have to cut the original studs and use the studs on the spacers.
