I just returned from my third and last visit to this dealer's service department. The previous visit (oil change) I was charged $5 for topping up the winshield washer fluid. Whatever, $5 is not worth fighting over. That evening I returned home (and didn't use any fluid) and figured I'd check to see if they actually did the work...less than half the reservoir was full. I emailed their service manager and expressed my dissatisfaction. In return they brought a full bottle to me at work. Today I returned for their winter service as I needed an oil change. Again, the service included topping up the fluid (which was noted as a charge item on the bill). Already not trusting them, I pre-filled the reservoir to the top last night to see if they'd try the same deception (charge me for the fluid, unknown to me that it was included in my service). I picked up the car, drove to work (5 mins) and used A LITTLE fluid. When I arrived at work the fluid was barely below the filler neck. Called the service manager (my advisor) and his response was he would speak to the technician. Obviously they used some fluid and didn't top it up of course expecting me to not notice. On a positive note, at least the air filter I bought was actually installed. My cabin filter (also supposed to be inspected) was untouched as evidenced by a small tamperproof seal I put on the access door (I didn't trust them and now I've confirmed my suspicion).

I'm done with these guys. Unfortunately their location was convenient for me to drop off my car and take their shuttle to work (the driver of which is too fast and reckless on small roads).

Wow scamming people daily... I wonder how many others they do this to.

Edit: Today I found an 8mm socket still attached to one of the bolts holding the splash shield on!?

Look at the glass as half full. You just got a free 8mm socket. No matter how small the victory, it's still a victory. Let that be a lesson to airport Mazda.

Very good experience at Airport Mazda courtesy of Randy service advisor. Went in for an oil change this past saturday - they realized an updated part for my hvac system in my 13' Sky Touring model should be put in. Due to the long wait, he gave me a SPA 360 coupon to use anytime!
