Has anyone ever used a go pro as a dash cam? is it convienant like a normal dash cam? i was thinking of a go pro for a dash cam cus i know go pros are good quality and can last. I've already went through like 3 different shitty dash cams. or any suggestions on a good dash cam for around $150?

Bestbuy has Blackvue DR3500-FHD during boxing week sale. I got it off Black Friday.
I don't have personal experience with this but I did buy the "Go Pro" aka Xiaomi Yi for someone.
They came out with a dash cam:

You can't beat the price with Wifi and iOS/Android app integration. There no other dash cam with Wifi at this price range.

I use my go pro for a dash cam. It's a pain in the ass. Manually starting and stopping it, when you remember too. Charging it, lack of battery time and memory. But creates awesome video lol.

Exact same complaint from me. I've stopped using it because of these problems. My next purchase will be an actual dashcam.

Thats actually pretty cool this dash cam. do you know if this dash cam has overlaps record? So when the memory card gets full it will just overlap itself?

Any dashcam would have those features and possibly options to choose size of each clip.

Periodically motormaniac has a group buy. Got my dual channel one installed there and it's working great. Installing done by him was totally worth it too.

I love my PanoramaII and the quality is great, been using it for 2 years. Don't use a Go Pro as a daily dash cam.
