Compustar Remote Won't Connect to Car

So I recently installed a sub and amp, before I started I disconnected the battery so nothing shorted out. After I completed the installation I reconnected the battery and tried arming my car, but nothing happened. Theres a light signal tower on the top left of my remote, which is a Prime 9000, so as I click the lock button it flashes and nothing. I've looked everywhere online and everyone has said to reprogram it by turning the key on and off 5 times and clicked the lock button and nothing. So could someone please help me, I need the remote starter working as soon as possible because its cold out lol.

Thats the same procedure I tried, but there is no clicking noise nor doesn't anything happen when I click the lock button

You turned it all the way to on and not just to Accessory right?
