New Mazda 3 making loud humming noise

Just got a new Mazda 3 this month. Everything seemed ok. Shortly after I put winter tires on I started hearing a loud hum when I went over 70kmh or so. It gets louder the faster I go and gets quite ear piercing at highway speeds. I suspect the new tires are to blame but was hopeful that someone here might have a better idea. Don't want to run in yelling at the tire shop when I should be at the dealership or vies versa. Here is a clip I recorded on my phone of the sound. Just hopping someone experienced could recognize what this might be.

i had this noise too but it was when i switch from my stock 16 wheel n tire to a 18inch lower profile tires.for my case it was the tire being more wider and lower profile contributing to noise. i have winters now and its quiet. will check with dealer ship when i put them back on this spring.

Get a nice cat-back exhaust or a audio system(Subwoofer) and the noise will go away.

Never heard it before the winters were on, but only had the car for a few days before I put them on.

I would suspect the tires. Go back, no yelling, just tell them your concerned about your safety....and ask them to check each tire again thoroughly for defects and have them check the balance again. Also make sure they torque the wheels on properly.

It's the tires for sure! Mine does the same thing...Blizzaks brand.

They are sailum icebreakers. Went back and got them all rotated rebalanced and checked. Still crazy noisy.

I have exact same winter tires as you! I have no isses their perfect. Play music or upgrade exhaust

I have the Sailun Ice Breakers as well WST-1s, 2nd year on them actually. No issues, only time they get a little noisy is on the highway, sounds like I have a supercharger lol.

If your still concerned, only thing I would suggest is to put your summers back on, and see if the noise goes away. If it does, then you know its the tires. If not, then it obviously would be something else, like a bearing, which is quite possible with these Mazda's.
