Car shakes when going over any size bump

I have a 2010 gs stock and the past couple of days when I hit a small or big bump in the road the car shakes/shimmy/wiggle not violently but enough to notice its happening. Driving straight and even in turns the car drives great, no sounds no shaking. The steering wheel doesn't shake or feel loose. The car was aligned and balanced when I put on my winter tiers. Can anyone help me on what's going on?

How many kms? My 2010 used shake over bumps found out it was my front struts one was completely blown and my back shocks were starting to go maybe get those checked out ? Usually you can tell youself if you try to press down on the fenders where the wheel is and see how bouncy the car is . If its easily pushed down most likely the struts! Thats just what happened to me however hope this helps!

I have 188,000km on the car. Thanks iAaronx for the help, I'll try that when I get home to see how bouncy it is.

Try pushing on each corner of the car when parked on level ground. See if the car bounces.

The shocks on my 2010 needed replacing at 125,000km and the struts were toast at around 155K, so you may be due.

I tried pushing on all 4 corners and no bouncing at all. checked the tier pressure and they are all good. just one thing to help you guys help me, when the car hits the bumps it doesn't bounce up and down in any extra way but it wiggles from side to side. like it wants to fish out, not to the point where I'm close to lose control but like I sais before enough to notice somethings wrong.

That's why I don't think it's the struts or shocks but then again what do I know.

The bounce test is not an accurate method anyways. Best bet is to take it in to the experts and have them inspect your suspension thoroughly. No use just speculating on the forum here.

Does the shaking feel like it is coming from the front? - Almost in the steering Rack?

I had very bad Vibrations on any bump when I had to replace both of my Lower Control Arms at 190K

Adding to the speculation. I would get it checked out if you feel if its turning into a safety concern.
