Please help the noob out.

The car is 2015 Mazda 3 hatchback. I guess the rims are 16 inch, but I have no clue to be honest. The rims that came on the car are now holding the winter tires and I am planning on getting another set of rims to put a summer ones on. Looking for black rims. Have no idea where to go as I never bough rims previously in my life. Google tells me that I have a shop called "Superior tire and auto" which has some nice looking ones on the web site. Is it a reputable shop and what price should I be looking at? I don't want something expensive, but also don't want to buy cheap stuff either, just looking for quality.

You should look through member rides threads here, to get an idea of what you have in mind. Then go to one of our sponsors for pricing.

Also take a look at our classifieds section. There are a couple of black rims on sale. OEM and aftermarket. Looking for brand new or used? OEM or aftermarket? 16", 17" or 18"?

We have some great sponsors as mentioned above. You can also buy OEM like rims at dealerships made by Fast wheels, I think.

I need new with receipt/warranty etc, so buying second hand from classifieds aren't the option. OEM or aftermarket makes no difference to me since I don't know what it means. My summer tires are 16", so I guess that's the rim size I need. I'll go through sponsors on this forum, but I basically need something to be installed fast as the weather got warm.

Thanks. I am not very particular about it. Just need something decent. I know I can probably walk into a random wheel & tire store and get myself something, but I will probably overpay as I have no idea how anything should be priced, and what's good or bad when it comes to wheels. Never owned a car before. I mean I did own one for 2 years previously, but I never did anything to it, and sold it the same I bought it.

Three commented that he needed a receipt, 'GTA wheels' would not work.

TM3 has a great sponsor base, Exclusive Wheel and Tire, Nextmod, Simply Tire, and Tires23 can help you with selection and pricing. Looks like you'll need a 16 x 6.5 wheel with a 50 offset and 5 x 114.3 bolt pattern.

I bought my dad a second set of alloys for his Subaru from Fast wheels. He really likes them and has had zero issues so far.

They're nice wheels, good quality, OK price, Canadian based I believe, have a warranty, issue receipts for purchases, many tire shops can order them for you.

Best contact shops when you do find a rim you like, and compare prices. Start with the sponsor section first.

For Fast wheels - Check out their site and input your car model. The site generates wheels compatible, then double check the options with the previously listed specs from Mr. Wilson. They don't look bad either.

Thanks a lot everyone. I will look into sponsors here first and Fast Wheels. Will update with pictures etc.

Thanks

I've dealt with Simply Tire, Exclusive and Nextmod. All great options, but I've dealt with Simply the most for wheels/tires - They get incredibly busy through Spring/Fall so you'd want to get on it sooner than later.

We also have a new sponsor in Richmond Hill if you live nearby. Trillitires. They probably have rim and tire sets for sale too.

So I contacted a sponsor and received 8 different sets of wheels in my price range. I like 2 so far, the ones are made by RTX and the other ones by DAI. Not sure how to psot a picture here but basically these 2:

Honestly, I like how the DAI looks a bit more, but not sure the relative quality of both. Anyone runs on DAI here?

Both are similar in quality, solid wheels.

Can't see the photo of the second link, but I have a set of 18 inch Dai Autobahn on mine, only had them on for one season so far, but so far they are great rims.

Weird, works for me. How much do you guys think is the fair price for the DAI 16" wheels before tax, installation etc?

Went to Trillitires as suggested by Jackal and got myself installed DAI Target. Great job done by Narbeh at Trillitires and I am fairly please with how they look. He also gave me an additional discount for being a member. Will wash the car and post some pictures lately.
