07' GT Front cover leaking

I bring my car to the dealer to get my oil changed and on their list of stuff to do, they called the front engine cover that was leaking oil. They would replace the crankseal, front cover gasket and something else else, forgot what. Is this a common issue on the 2.3l engine? My car is near 200 000 km. I think they quoted $455 parts and labour.

Sounds about right. After 200,000 km its not uncommon for a car to develop oil leaks. The money is mostly in labour. The front cover is just silicone.

It's not only on 2.3s My 04 2.3 had to get that done at around that mileage and now the 05 2.0 needs it done as well with around the same mileage.
