11 mazda 3 hatch turn signal issue

hi everyone,

just wanted to see if anyone else had this problem before I am forced to try the dealership. I have a 2011 mazda 3 GX hatchback, and whenever i put on the parking lights the front left turn signal does not show any light (doesnt stay on idle), but whenever I turn on the signal the light illuminates(flashes normally) and when the turn signal turns off it also stays off. I have attempted to replace the bulb already, is there anything else that I can check before being forced to go to the dealership? (the car is out of warranty anyways)

If you need to buy a headlight/ signal stalk I have one came from my car that I don't need anymore. I can sell it to you.

Sounds like a dead bulb.

If you already changed the bulb, next place to check is the socket and wiring going to it. Turn signal and parking each have a separate wire going to the socket, with a shared ground wire. (Or might be shared +ve, can't recall).
