Hey guys, I've been having worse and worse hot start issues on my 2010 2.5L. Typical symptoms of a bad PCV valve, as many have inquired about on this forum. I'm wondering if the process is the same for the 2.5L as it is on the 2.3L to replace it, in which you have to remove the intake manifold... Anyone know for sure? Can't seem to find anything online for the 2.5, but the 2.3 has loads of PCV info... Thanks

The PCV valve is in the same position on the 2.5 as the 2.3.

I used to remember on my old car the pcv was something to replace every 100,000 km. but that seems to have changed. is that something people still are changing at a specific mileage? and how hard is it. cant say I have ever looked for mine yet.

I'm not too sure if people are doing it by mileage anymore, but rather when it acts up, like in my case. Im still trying to determine whether or not this is a task I could do myself, or just let Jimmy do it. Seems like something out of my league... :(

keep me posted. I would be interested to do mine before it could become an issue.
