Need some help diagnosing an issue.

My front driver's side (feels like, may be front brakes) caliper is sticking. When coasting in N, there is significant resistance when the brake pedals are not pushed. If coasting slow enough, the car can stop itself going downhill as well.

The brakes also make a hard squealing noise when slowly coming to a stop, and they are still on holding the car in place when stopped, not pushing the brakes. When coasting in 2nd gear from 50kph - the rpms drop much faster than normal due to the added resistance.

The issue has come and gone in the last few weeks and has not been a thing for the last few days - car coasting absolutely normally, no resistance, but now it feels much worse - more resistance applied always.

Any help would be appreciated. I don't know much but can research plenty if guided in the right direction. I'll be calling Jimmy tomorrow during his business hours to see if he can see me Regarding this.

Thanks.

Kieran

Going to Jimmy on Tuesday. The problem has since gone away again in the dry weather. It was happening alot when wet.
