Vvt break in period ?

Just got my 08 mazdaspeed 3 vvt replaced by an aftermarket warranty and I was wondering what the break-in period for the vvt is ?

I'm not sure but it's not like you're breaking in a new engine where the rings/pistons have to seat in the cylinders. VVT uses the engine oil so provided your oil quality/level is good (I assume you're on synthetic with a Mazdaspeed) I wouldn't worry about it. If you want to be ultra careful you could take it easy for 1,000km or so as you would with a new engine but I personally think that's overkill.
