Has anyone just installed the insert on the passenger side mount for a first gen mz3? Rock auto has what appears to be an all rubber insert for cheap. Just wanted to make sure I can do this without a press. Thanks

Thought I would follow up on this thread as we know the mounts are junk on these cars. I bought just the insert for $15 from rock auto. Was an extremely easy install. Took me ten minutes. Saved a good $60 from buying the bracket. I would recommend ordering the transmission mount as I assume when one went it forced the other one to go quickly. Attached a photo of my old insert which literally was split in half.

Which part exactly did you buy?
Is that a pure rubber or hydraulic filled?
How's the vibration?
Need to change mine too.
TIA

Mine was for a first gen 2.3 so yours may be different. I believe it is solid rubber at that price but I would prefer that. Vibration is identical to factory. Like I said replace the transmission one at the same time too.
