Transmission Fluid - flush necessary?

I'm planning on changing my transmission fluid soon, but I was wondering if a flush is needed?

Would draining and filling be good?

Every 50k. Drain and fill is okay to some people.

Up to you if you want to pay like 200 something to get the drain machine and suck out all that fluid.

But it is necessary to prolong transmission life.

If the fluid is still pinkish, a drain and fill is alright.

Once it gets brown/grey, have a shop do a flush. A drain/fill will only replace a third or so of the fluid.
