If that is the case, you really should not be on the road.

I know nobody should be on the road w/o insurance, I have 3 cars 1 is on parking insurance, all of them is on the same policy number. Just queeroius how would the cops know if w/c car Insurance is on hold.

Im just about to throw a story.

Im pretty sure you guys heard of those "insurance companies" that just gives you the pink slip copy that says you are insured but you actually do not have any coverages. I believe its 100 a year just to get that copy.

For those of you guys that dont know this exist, it does and I DO NOT EVER recommend this.

Anywhoo, he got pulled over, showed his insurance, then cop left without a question after serving him a ticket for speeding.

But that doesnt mean they can or can not. Just a story thay can mean something o.O

So my understanding is they don't have any way to check it unless they call the insurance company

Please don't drive without proper insurance. First of all, if/when you do get caught, you'll be in for a world of shit. Two, if you do cause a collision and are at fault, you AND the other guy will be in for a world of shit. Three, how would you feel if someone hit you and didn't have insurance? You'd probably wish a world of shit upon them.

Stop being part of the reason insurance is so costly in Ontario -.-

Yes, they do.

They do the same thing I do:

We log in, run your policy number and find out what's on your policy, what has road coverage and what does not.
