As long as you have 2 exits... or even then, you can cut and seal of you only have 1 exit.

But its direct fitment i think only for the axle back portion

what would i have to do to get the 'midpipe' (i think it's called) to fit? the part with the cat in it

The mid pipe won't bolt right up. The midpipe will have to be cut and welded. The muffler itself is direct bolt. Did it on my 2012 sky hatch.

Oh, you use a smaller pipe between the stock midpipe and the speed 3 midpipe. Honestly, the sound from just the muffler is really nice.

Oh, thought it bolted up. My mistake

Is there a difference between just the axleback part and adding the speed3 midpipe in? I don't know too much about this. I have the axleback installed and I love it, and the midpipe just lying around. I was just curious if it made any difference.

I have heard that it's louder, but I enjoy just the muffler on my Skyactiv. I think Girds had the mid pipe as well, if I remember correctly.

I did also have the mid pipe but I also did a resonator delete so it was quite a bit louder
