Good Day
My 2013 Mazda 2.0l ( non skyactive) seems to have the blower motor go bad. No matter what speed and what temperature HOT or Cold AC, there's no air coming from the vents. ( When i place my hand on the vent and turn on the AC i can feel the vent is cold but no air is coming out)
Would this be covered under the power train warranty ?
Sometimes while driving for 15 minutes it will randomly turn on and work for weeks/months , and then stop working.

Not covered under PT warranty but comprehensive...(4 years/80k?)...
The fact it will sometimes work for long periods makes me think there is a connection issue somewhere, maybe due to corrosion.

Yeah its a little bit strange how it comes and goes at times. I find it that when i first start the car and i drive its not an issue, if i then turn the car off and get back into it within 15-20min it wont work .
Comprehensive warranty is that like purchased warranty at a separate cost or is that added on all Mazda vehicles ?

Comprehensive comes with all cars, Mazda's comp was 36 months/80k for your year. It could have been extended for a price. If you are not the original owner, I think you can check with Mazda if you have an extended by calling them and giving your vehicle VIN.
As to your issue; Check also that you don't have the recirculation button on recirculate, and that your vent mode is set to the vents you are checking.

Will call mazda canada during the week and check if my warranty is still valid . I open the hood and pushed all the fuses in nicely, i think its a fuse issue, i refuse to believe that a car with 35 000km has a blower motor gone bad. Once i pushed all the fuses in as hard as i could the air starting working. Strange tho only started working once i turned the car on.
Thanks for your help, will have the dealer look at the relays and fuses.

why not just call your dealer they can tell you what is covered. if you think its a fuse find the one for blower or radio maybe and pull it out and put it back. could also be a blower resistor maybe not the fan itself.

The thing is , none of the relays/fuses say blower motor, im thinking its the one that says FAN. Not sure which fuse controls the blower but im positive its a relay inside the hood labeled as FAN. Also , i would think the ventilation would never circulate/work if the fuse for the fan/blower is gone bad, but mine still works at times.

The air was coming from the ventilation, i just applied presure on all the fuses and relays under the hood, and the air started working ! Might have to check one by one which relay is deffective. Unsure which relay controls the blower motor but it should be the one labeled HEAT
