Hi, this is the sub and enclosure I currently have.

The Sub is a JL-Audio 10W4-X which blew out a few weeks ago, and the Enclosure is .528 Cubic feet.

My AMP is the Rockford Fosgate R600-5.

Can I hook up this Sub (Alpine Type-S SWS-10D4) into that enclosure and if yes, how would I connect it?

The JL-Audio has only two connectors on it while the Alpine has 4.

I appreciate any help you can give me.

Your amp has 1 subwoofer channel which ought to be enough but your speaker has dual voice coils. Perhaps the voice coils can be connected in parallel. Your box is within spec but a tight fit for a big speaker.

I assume the amp is only used for the sub. If so, the sub will need a volume control so you can match to the volume of the other speakers.

Here's the custom sub I once had in a Honda Civic. It was jammed behind the passenger seat so the rider could feel the sound. It is too big for Mazda but I don't need it since I find the current Bose is good enough.
