Ok...this is way too funny....

so while I was driving home.....theres like atleast 20+ people from ages 7 to maybe 30+ in my street and they all have their phones out..

so when I parked my car...I walked and asked one of them what was going on as I was really curious...ive never seen so many people gather in my street with their phones out


Then they said something about a rare pokemon or someone activate something in that specific area......i was like WTF?......yea its Pokemon GO





So I checked it out and jumped on this band wagon.....I gotta say.....this app is really interesting as the whole point of the game is to make you go out of your cave...go to places...travel or something........yea....if you really wanna catch them all.....



yup....you know your a pokemon trainer at some point in your life....so go check it out...LOL

... yes it is.. lol that's how everyone is playing it. its not for appls yet. go google pokemon go apk and download that. install it and allow from unknown sources and boom you have it.

That will be interesting.. funny to see how many people dress up. it is fun though, a good time waster. just wish we had batter data plans here. wouldn't feel so bad about running it and walking around looking for these little guys

there were some malicious infected APK's floating out there, so you need to be careful.

I was able to download both apple and android versions directly from the app stores while in Canada this past sunday so you should have no issues getting it. Our work campus has 6 or 7 poke stops, so on my way out for the day i can take a long loop and hit all of them up. Daycare also has one at the church next door which i can reach from the parking lot.

I took a couple walks the last few days in the neighborhood because i needed to hatch some eggs and you meet some interesting people also wandering around. Pretty catchy game, but not sure how long the allure will last. May get bored in a week or so unless something new gets added like trading, which is apparently coming

i have my son with me (except for the late night walks haha) and he enjoys seeing the pokemon on his dresser and around the house and we have to catch them. Nice nostalgia factor too since i only played Red/Blue when they first came out and never tried another version, so i haven't played a pokemon game in almost 20 years.

Android Police has a verified APK so people can get it there without worrying. For iOS, I was told people can create a US account, download the app and switch back to real one or change the region to the US. It's one or the other and you can play it that way.

I hate anything to do with anime culture but my girlfriend and I downloaded it a couple days ago and we're having fun wandering downtown at night and discovering new places and finding murals and statues. It's a good excuse to go out for a walk and it's pretty funny seeing other couples doing the same.

You might as well just stay inside and not drive anywhere either, lots of people are getting into fatal accidents.

There is a way to get Pikachu right from the start... Too bad the GPS on my Note3 is poop, so my character just spins in place most of the time. The APK doesn't play nice with my Note4 that has a ported version of the S6 edge ROM on it... No Poke-fun for me :(

80mb in 6 days for me...unless you have a small data plan, this is barely a high data consumption app.

If anything, this is a battery life killer. The frequent drain and fast charge is going to kill the battery a lot faster now.

A tip to those playing and want to level fast, save your stardust and candies. You'll find much stronger pokemon as you level so there's no need to waste resources on powering them up. Pidgeys, Weedles, and Caterpies should be your best friends in leveling so make sure to always catch them. They only take 12 candies to evolve and give 500Exp every time. Save your lucky eggs for when you have a boat load of pokemon to evolve.

You can also pair an incense with the lucky egg as you're evolving pokemon for a little extra exp. It only lured like 4 pokemon in the 30 mins of use. Just make sure you save up enough candies and have enough duplicate pokemon to evolve throughout the 30 mins of 2x exp. I get a lot of drowzees in my area, enough to evolve 5 of them... and my evee evolved to a flareon which was a new register to the pokedex so that gave me +2000exp. Leveled 2 full levels from 13-15 last night from one egg.

People are speculating that it's either because of the European release bombarding the servers with traffic or because it's being DDOS'd by PoodleCorp who claimed that it's their doing. The latter is funny since the servers are already bad enough without their intervention.
