It's possible the bearings in the strutmount/hat may be seized

On this video I already have the new upper mount bearing replaced with OEM as I thought that's what it was too. The bearing moves a lot smoother for sure compared to old one and I already tried re-lubing it before. Not sure if the noise is normal but it is coming from inside the shock. The car drives a lot better now though with one new bearing; almost no memory steer.

So I don't know if it is noise is normal or not coming from inside the shock, but after replacing both of the strut upper bearings (bushings) my car no longer has memory steer and steering is very nice and smooth again :)
I was going to go to CT and check out one of the new struts (shocks), but didn't get to it. If I do I will update this thread.
