I have a 2010 2.5 gt with 123000kms on it have a noise that sounds like a wheel bearing but does not change under load as inj turning left or right but it does change when the suspension goes up and down. Sound starts at 60kms and disappears at 80kms its at its highest noise level then.
What I was wondering is if anyone has just changed the bearing with any success? If so where did you get the bearing etc. Any information would be very helpful.
Thanks in advance.

If I were you, I'd try isolating that it isn't tire noise. Do a front to back rotation on that side and see if the noise changes first.
I have the exact same issue you're talking about (noise doesn't change pitch with speed ) but I know that my tires are on the way out. I'm a 2010 M3 with 235,000 and all my bearings are still great.
Good luck !

Thanks morganc. I had this issue with my snows on and it's the same with my summer tires as well. It seems to be getting louder now as well. Looked into the price of the intermediate shaft almost 400 dollars Canadian and dealer only item. Not sure if anyone has had any luck changing just the bearing?

I'd maybe go to wrecker to get the piece and try that first. Are you certain it's not a wheel bearing?
