2011 6spd "squeak"

I've done some google searching on this, and can't seem to find this specific issue. Hoping to find some help from the Mz3 community on this. Not really sure what to do at this point. A little hard to self-diagnose this issue.

sI'm not totally sure on this issue, but everything points to it. On my Mazda, i believe ive toasted my release bearing.

Symptoms - Clutch makes a very light squeak sound coming from the engine bay. Only happens when engaging the clutch, but also doesn't happen all the time. Seems very random. Also, to this point i have 87000 kms on the car, and have yet to do a transmission fluid change. Should this be a first on my list as it hasn't been done yet?

I'm going to be facetious here, but are you sure it isn't the A/C belt squeaking? If you're sure it's tied to the clutch then it sounds like a release bearing is on your list soon. New tranny fluid is never a bad idea, but it's rather unlikely this is cause of your noise because you'd be noticing a host of other problems. Be really sure and just do the whole clutch while you're at it :)
