Hello. So im currently with Belair for about a year now, my renewal is coming this December so im having a second thought if i still continue with them or not since Im having hard time shopping around for cheapest premium. Since I moved out from my previous address a week ago I was paying $257/month for my 2011 MAzda 3 GX SEDAN. Now that I moved to a new place which is like 5min away from my previous address, belair is charging me $316/month which I find it a little bit pricey. I am 22 years old. Been licence for 5years now. Also I have a G for a year now. Any recommendations at all? I live in Downtown Hamilton By the way. Please let me know, Thanks.

No such thing as a company that is consistently the cheapest for everyone. Some will be cheaper for you but not another person.
I suggest you get in touch with an insurance broker. In my case, I communicated with at least 10 brokers before I found insurance significantly cheaper than everyone else.

Try RBC Insurance. They quoted me a good $25/mo lower from belair.
I spoke with a belair rep to see if they can match that. For some reason, all they did was increase my yearly usage and they were able to give me 15/mo off. So i just stuck there cause I didnt find the time to shop for insurance rates.
Id probably change next year though.

(reputable) Insurance brokers in Ontario do not charge fees.

Auto Insurance in Ontario is non-negotiable. The only way a price changes is if you change the variables that generate the rate. If they're changing variables, they're being dishonest about how you actually use the car and this could lead to a problem in a claims situation.
When all the companies are using the same variables (read: not manipulating the system) If someone comes in $0.01 cheaper, there's nothing anyone can do to match/beat the rate.
