Good Morning,
I have a quick question concerning the power steering fluid...
The last week or so I noticed that my car is making a lot of humming whining electric kind of noise... especially when you turn the wheel. It may have been going on longer, but I'd hardly hear it as I have the music on the majority of the time I'm in the car. I asked my friend whose a mechanic if he had any ideas and he told me to check the power steering fluid and see what level it's at...
After looking online, it said to check the fluid when it's been warmed up... I did and it's a tad above the minimum bar. When I got home, I checked the Mazda manual to see what they quote you should do. They claim to do it cold, which I did this morning before leaving for work.. and it seems completely empty... I can't see anything...
Is this something that can be easily filled up or do I need to make a trip to the dealer?
