Mazda Connect lag and clock doesnt keep time. [Archive]

Hi,

I just picked up a 2014 Mazda 3 GS yesterday and so far has been a decent ride. But this Mazda Connect is making me want to drive this car off the Bluffs. Is there a known issue with this system? It freezes every other option, takes 20 min to get into the change clock setting and when I finally change it it goes 30 min behind after a couple minutes. Please help!!

Sounds like you need a firmware update.

Yes, definitely update it
Latest Mazda Connect is version 59.00.441, you should expect to get this... I've heard some dealers don't install this but the older 55.x version

Also, enable GPS time sync if possible

Can I download the firmware myself or only dealership can update it?
