View Full Version : Square sidewall tires?

Hey dudes and dudes. Long time no post.

I'm thinking of mounting my old wheels on the new car. They are 17x8/9 and I'd be doing a proper FWD stagger, like this:

Now I am debating tire sizes. I'd prefer to go with a 245/40 all around just for ease of rotation, but I'd also consider mixing sizes if need be.

What are some examples of tires with very square sidewalls? Is anyone on this board running FWD staggered wheels and/or tires?

this was my falken azenis, i have hankook ventus RS3 now

Thank you! Actually thats a perfect illustration. They look like those Azenis run pretty wide?

I had RS3s and found the sidewalls to be quite square

very nice looking tire plus they perform great, at least when it's dry...
