As the title reads, I've somehow got water on the inside on my rear passenger side taillight and after it dried up and left water marks on the inside. This must be extremely rare cause I've never seen or heard of this problem happening, at least not on Mazda vehicles. Luckily it looks much worse in the picture than in does in person. But I don't even wanna know the cost of a new light so I was wondering if anyone knows a way of getting inside there or possibly provide some insight on how I could remove the marks even if it's a dam coat hanger with a cloth taped to the end lol.... ?

The first gens have the same problem.
Not very likely that you'll get a coat hanger to that location. Also possible that you'll do some damage to the inside of the lense. They are very vulnerable to damage. They are permanently sealed and unable to be taken apart.
If you got warranty, they should cover moisture

Fair enough, I just thought maybe you could carefully get through on where you would replace a bulb or led in this case. I can live with it for now as it's only noticeable up close during day, And not covered by warranty unfortunately

Suggestion to remove the marks: Pull the assembly off and remove the bulbs. Rinse it out with clean water mixed with vinegar. You'll likely need to really slosh it around to get that spot rinsed. Then re-rinse with distilled water or with tap water mixed with a bit of dishwasher anti-spotting agent (e.g. JetDry). Distilled water would be be better, I think. Then put it somewhere warm to dry.

If it is LED, I don't suggest filling it with water. I can't tell from the picture.

take it to the dealer and get them to fix it under warranty... that's what it's for!
mess with it, and they can blame you for the issue

Thanks for the feedback! So it's not covered by my warranty, and I'm definitely not taking the entire light assembly out or filling it up with water/vinigar. The spots are on the led portion of the taillight so depending on how that would get replaced there should be an opening once the led is removed so I can tie a micro fiber cloth to the end of a coat hanger and wipe away the marks. Just have to wait until some warmer weather hits. The guy at the service desk said there is a vent in the light to let moisture escape which doesn't sound right but maybe he's is? I always thought they were sealed

what is "my warranty"?
this is covered under factory bumper to bumper warranty

Bought it used 78k. Extended powertrain warranty and Mazda added protection plan. Don't have bumper to bumper, nothing covers this issues but I've found a way to remove a cover and easily clean it up once it's warmer
