Hi I removed a magnet from my hatch door and found a few little pieces of rust behind it.

See attached images. I'm just wondering how do I remove this using items i can buy from canadian tire or something.

Basically i wouldnt want to bring this to a shop to get removed

Any help is appreciated [emoji846]

Yeah, looks like "rail dust" as S.F.W. said, you'd probably be good with a clay bar. Should just be surface.

This is a good lesson for anyone that has magnets on their car. Be sure that you clean the surface well before applying and clean under it regularly. Really cheap magnets don't adhere very strongly thus allowing a lot of crap behind them and also they can vibrate causing 'chafing' to the paint. I wouldn't recommend them at all as most magnets are poor quality.
