Hey guys, anything would help at this point, at highway speeds occasionally on the front drivers side you hear a clunking Noise as well as feel a vibration/and fast knocking to the left of where your feet are on the floor in the drivers side. It isn't constant. It is only when there is more force on the front drivers side of the car such as turning. It is only heard around highway speeds, when going around 50 km/h I hear a slight knock from the same place from going over some bumps. Thinking it could by my strut, I've gotten underneath and made sure everything was tight and didn't make noise. But still anything would help!

Sounds like a CV axle to me.

Do you know any way I can check to see if it is?

You could see if the boot is ripped on the axle. That is how they usually go. As for sound it usually creates the noise when you turn and the axle is on the inside wheel. The sound usually increases frequency with rpm as the axle is spinning after.

I have inspected the boot but no tears, but it'll be something I'll look into, thanks!

im thinking strut top mount? Mine went bad and started shaking at highway. clunking would make sense when turning. Clunking could also be ball joint or endlinks but shouldnt been constant on the highway, unless theyre really bad lol

you can determine theyre bad by bouncing the front of the car. if the top mount moves around, its probably bad. check through the top where the strut bolts in.

I have checked that and there is some play, I'll probably end up replacing both front strut assemblys where they've never been replaced.
