I'm looking to install an aftermarket head unit into my 08 Mazda3. Was wondering where I can get the proper wiring harness. I don't have a credit card so it has to be from a shop/store. The one I bought from crappy tire that says 2004+ does not work.
Also does anyone know what the small connector is for that plugs in beside the antenna?
Thanks in advance

What wiring harness did you get? and does your car have the bose audio?
as for the antenna adapter, i've never needed one for either of the 3 manufacturers of deck i've installed in my 3 (pioneer, JVC and Panasonic) What deck did you get?

I have a pioneer deck. The harness I bought from crappy tire had two small connectors but mine is 1 larger connector.

Then you got the wrong harness.
do you not have a local audio shop you could get it from?
I'd help you out since I have like 4 sitting at home but i'm in Ottawa. If you pay for the shipping (emt) i could send you one. I'm sure it wouldn't be more then 10$. Send me a PM if you're interested.
you could also order on ebay (paypal only needs a bank account)
This is what you'd be looking for. either of these will work

I just don't know of an audio shop in my direct area. But I'll just google one. So the adaptor near the antenna I don't need at all just leave it unused ?

where are you located?
for the antenna. It should be able to just fit in the hole from my experience with pioneer. (3 different ones in my mazda)

Hey thanks for the help. I found a local shop near me got the proper stuff needed. The antenna wasn't an issue for me. There is a connector beside it on the original head unit and I don't know what it's for. Nothing is effected by not using it though
