You should be fine at most places.

Base your decision on the best place to have what you want done because that is the important part...any place dealing in/with mods surely has a way to hoist just about anything they would be willing to work on ;)

Go see Jimmy...unless he's too far for you

I had asked a Mazda service guy what he thought about lowering my car, and I asked if they would install after market springs and shocks... but they wouldn't, he also said if I lowered my car I would not be able to take it to this dealership anymore because they wouldn't be able to get it on their lift. I would think jimmy would be the best, or any other shop specializing in modded cars.

What dealership told you that? I'm calling their bluff because a stock MX5 is damn low and I highly doubt they can't hoist it...

I can vouch that Maple Mazda and Achilles Mazda have no issue with a lowered car. In fact I believe there is a post where someone thanks Achilles for installing something aftermarket for them

Your profile says Hamilton, and I don't know the dealerships in that area. However, both Achilles Mazda in Milton and 401 Dixie Mazda in Mississauga would be good choices, and could service a lowered car.

I'm dying of shock!!!! Sigh...I wonder if something bad happened and they don't want to deal with any future issues.

Before servicing at the dealership in Brampton you'll want to read the thread below so that you can be prepared for the experience....
