The rattling happens when I go over any sight bump or even a crack in the road it rattles bad. I just replaced rear end links thinking that was the issue. It stops when I apply the brakes. My rear struts are leaking and will be replaced but I still don't think that's causing this rattle. I'll leave a link to the video. Please help, it's driving me insane. https://youtu.be/9HQRVgv9X-Qhttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170607/c5df2248f273627c957c54714c391711.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170607/5762f5117e4a55af50d68d7c16b76da2.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170607/d3327e2d86331ec44318538663a0db49.jpg

Check to see if the exhaust is loose as rattling against something.

This isn't an exhaust rattle

It's probably the struts then. Jack up the rear of the car and see if you can replicate the noise by wiggling the wheels.

I found my brake cable was rattling maybe that's the problem

Could be possible. Secure it and see if it went away.

Could it be the spare tire or in the jack compartment? Mine was rattling once so I secured it better and it stopped

Its definitely outside the car but I'll check that anyway, thanks!

check tightness of wheels.
This sounds EXACTLY to what I had an issue with. SLIGHTEST brake application and the noise would go away. On a hoist, had the hand brake on and was checking the rear end and was able to turn the wheel on one side. tightened lug nuts, noise gone

less likely, due to conditions you are describing maybe your rear coils are broken. the bottom coil will break about half a wind. It will rattle like no tomorrow in your lower control arm

Fixed it, brake pads were rattling

Nice, I had the same issue last summer. It drove me nuts; two new brake caliper anti rattle springs and I was good to go.
