2006 mazda 3 2.3lt swapped to a 2.0

Hello I have some problems I just did my swap from a 2.3 to a 2.0 and swapped all the parts from the outside of my 2.3 to the 2.0 and kept the 2.3 ecu in the car it turns over it tries to start with popping noises out of the back end but won't run at all now I have spark and fuel but my number 2 coil wont spark the other 3 do and when I check all the plugs with that coil it works I have signal and everythi g in the wire it sparks once and after nothing now is the main pulley t on the 2.0 the same as a 2.3 what will cause all these issues that thanks.

I believe the crank sensor is different from 2.3 to 2.0. I suggest swapping the ECU. That's the better way to do it.

I do not recommend taking the pulley off, it needs special tools to hold the crank shaft properly.

I have all the tools but can't seem to figure out if the Harmonic Balancers are difrent
