Turned on the car with the hood open and noticed that theres a clicking sound. This wasn’t after a cold start.

No worries. If you put your engine cover back on, you will hear less of it.

all normal... the fuel injectors are loud on these engines because of their direct injected nature

the engine cover will cut down the noise, so will the JDM hood insulator
