2016 GS recirculated air button stuck

Has anybody had any issue the same as mine? The recirculated air button is stuck and now the outside vent won't close. My car is a 2016 Mazda 3 GS with a manual air conditioning system.

are you using the defroster setting? it will only work in fresh air setting

After a couple of days the button just popped back out and is now unstuck. I've heard that it was a known issue for the earlier models and one of the factors was the cold temperature/air making the vents stuck.

I'm gonna let my dealer know about this issue when I bring my car in for a service.

UPDATE: Took my car to the dealership today, the problem went back and the whole A/C panel will be replaced under warranty.
