Hello,

I am about to pickup a set of winter "steelies" with tires for 2006 Mazda 3. The only differences is the offset - 2006 is 52.5 and 2015 is 50mm. I was wondering if anybody knows if these will fit - clear the caliper. Should I even worry about such minor difference in offset?

Thank you very much!

Bez.

Yes you will be fine, just make sure they have the same outter circumference ex. 205/55/16 is the same as 205/65/15 etc... as for the offset you should be fine, 2015 probably have a bigger break so it will clear.

Thank you so much. My original tires are 205/55R16. New ones are actually 205/60R16 plus the offset difference I mentioned earlier. Based on my research the new one is taller by 0.8" so it sits 0.4" deeper in the wheel well. I hope it will not rubb anywhere .
