Hey guys my cruise on my 2010 mazda 3 hatchback was working fine till I came back from being away with work for 3 weeks, the car sat in the driveway, the day after I came back the car started fine and I took it for a drive on the highway and noticed that the cruise control turns on but after 1 or 2 minutes it automaticly stops working, I can put it back on and then it stops. The cruise light stays on, just goes back to yellow.
Had this problem for a few weeks now, have some of you had issues with it?
The car has 222 000 km on it if it helps.
thank you

No "Check Engine" light? Maybe get a code scanner to see if you're throwing codes (though curious that the light wouldn't come on).

Could be an issue with the cruise control module or the sensor on your brake pedal that disables it. If is just stops working then module may be shot. Maybe check all connections?

there's no cruise control modules in these cars... it's all controlled by the ECU through the drive-by-wire throttle

I've had a check engine for a few years now but it is 02 sensor and yes I do have 2 mats (the one that comes with the car and one winter mat on top of it) like I always do.
