Hey this is the second time its happening but when i leave the car for a few days without touching it, the battery will be drained to the point where i cant start it anymore and it requires a boost. Its a 2017 mazda3 gt.

Only thing that could be doing it is the dashcam, its always on so its possibly causing the battery to do that. Or could it be the battery not being good? I have an oil change on wednesday im going to have them look at it.

I have an app that can read the voltage of the car and it currently sits at 9.8v - 10.4v

If you have a dashcam that doesn't auto shut down after the battery reaches some sort of voltage (like say... 12v), that's definitely the parasitic draw source.

Yup, my Blackvue would do that to my Jeep after about three full days of sitting, less in the really cold weather. I have one of the battery-savers but I had the cut-off set lower than the Jeep needed to start in the cold, so I've tweaked it recently and the problem has gone away. That's almost certainly your problem.

The Power Magic Pro (https://www.blackboxmycar.ca/collections/dash-cam-cables-clips-hardwiring-kits/products/power-magic-pro-blackvue?variant=16299935813) is one of the most popular options. Installation isn't difficult.

There's the slight chance that killing your battery multiple times has damaged it, but solve the cause first and see how things play out. If you want to go that route, remove and don't mention the dashcam when you go to the dealership, and maybe you'll get a battery under warranty (definitely not if they see the dashcam as the cause).

parasitic draw, eric the car guy has a video in youtube for that.

You'll need a multimeter
