Looking at high mileage Mazda 3 hatchback today and it looked like the transmission was leaking a fluid that looked like engine oil [yellow]. Didn't seem to be coming from the bottom, but the top, or close to the top of the manual transmission. Is this common? What color is the manual trans fluid?
Might have been the left output shaft seal. Is that an easy fix? Pull shaft, pry out seal and re-assemble?
