After getting the error codes below (picture) about 1k km ago, I changed my upstream o2 sensor. I no longer experience any codes, but I am still burning gas like crazy months later. I'm getting roughly 250km a tank. Anyone have any ideas what to look for? I haven't had a check engine light since, and I didn't get any error codes when I scanned recently.
Thanks!

250 km per tank? ... you aren't burning gas, you are leaking it or just sending it through the engine without igniting it.
Can't think of any scenario that would involve the gas being burned at that rate.

Thanks for your input! I really hope it isn't a leak or anything major. I'll start next weekend by checking the spark plugs, thanks!

Don't know your mileage, but checking your plugs, air filter, and that your coils are firing properly etc, would eliminate those as a reason and easily checked.

I'd also suggest checking your tires for "proper air pressure" and also that your wheels are free turning. (i.e; Turning easily), which can be checked easily on a hoist looking for 'slightly' seizing calipers or possibly bad bearings.

*You could also first try resetting the system by simply disconnecting the battery for ten minutes or so, and after reconnecting it drive around as you usually do for atleast 1/2 hour. Then keep a keen eye on your fuel usage.

Thanks boss! I'm at 152K km, and this hatch has been nothing but problems for me. I got it from - sketchy dealership, and now I realize it's most likely one of those Quebec cars that appears to have been in a front end collision, fixed and front repainted. Lesson learned! Would a slightly seized caliper cause it to drop that much? When I put new rotors in the rear I could not for the life of me compress the rear calipers with the tool for new pads, but I'm not noticing any dragging, and hand brake works fine. I'll definitely check over everything you mentioned!

Some of the stuff I've done to it so far include:

-New brake rotors, pads, rear hoses, and brake fluid flush (dealer put regular small rotors on, not sport gt ones)
- o2 sensor
- both rear upper strut mounts
- New driver door lock (broken into)
- a bunch of stuff to repair mazda rust
