My Mazda dealer quoted me $350 + tax to replace the spark plugs on my 2014 Mazda3 2.0L. I have read that it is good practice to stick with the OEM spark plugs especially with the skyactiv engine. What is/are the part number(s) for the OEM plugs? Anyone have a Canadian retailer for them? $350 seems like a lot, should I just source the plugs online and do the work myself? I would think it's a pretty straight-forward job. For reference I have installed an air intake and throttle controller on the car but that's it.

Most Mazda dealers offer a TM3 discount (ranges 10% -15).. Search TM3 site.
I would do them myself ...just dont have the tools and an indoor garage space....plus older i get less i want to do stuff except ride and tune it.
Considering that the plugs are about $70 (4) that $350 seams high unless its bundled service package (maybe include injector cleaning too)
A skilled mech this less than and hour... I know my mazda dealer charges $120 /hr. ...my local trusted at $80

$350 to change plugs? LMAO Ripoff extraordinaire! They can be changed in 15 minutes. Do yourself a favour and don't bring your car to that dealer ever again, unless its a recall or something.
The standard iridium plugs should cost you about $50 through using our TM3 discount, and do it yourself or find a friend to do it, its simple...Watch a couple of YT videos to get acquainted with what it entails.
If you don't want to do it yourself use one of our sponsors or go to Jimmy.
Tip; Do not touch the electrode tips whatsoever, the gaps come already properly set.

Thanks for the advice. I will do the work myself. I just have a few questions first.
1. What is the proper torque spec for the plugs?
2. Apply dielectric grease to the inner surface of the ignition coils?
3. Apply anti-seize or grease to the spark plug threads?

1. 7-10ft/lbs, or finger tight and 3/4 turn with wrench.
2. No.
3. Definitely no, spark plugs come with a single use coating on the threads.

you'll need to get a 14mm plug socket... it's not 5/8" like many cars
