my front hub wheel bearings started making noiseattwoyears from new. failure at 120,000 km Is this normal. It isespensive at $1000 for a left andright side installed. especially at every two or three years.

I know I did one side twice and haven't since. But 500 per side sounds a bit high for a hub and bearing. Is that from the dealer? Or aftermarket

Agree, $500 a side is ridiculously high. I changed out my right bearing and hub a few years ago and it cost me around $200.

it does look like for around that year its about 3.6 hours for both fronts on mitchell prodemand. or 2.2 hours for the rears. so roughly 4-450 in labour depending on labour rate plus parts, well i guess i could see how it got up to 1000 if thats with tax.
