2011 alarm keeps going off randomly

I don't have any aftermarket alarm. It's just the built in alarm/immobilizer. It seems to just go off sometimes at random. Anyone know what might be up with it?

I have the FOB with buttons, no keyless entry

easy answer
A low battery can set off the alarm.
This happened to be a while ago (but my battery was new) the FOB was setting it off
I disconnected the FOB (the cover that makes contact with the battery ) and it stopped.

For me it was the hood latxh sensor being flaky. See here:
